Three people are dead, including a former aide to Gov. Cuomo, and a 10-year-old boy is in critical condition, after a horrific three-car crash Sunday on the Long Island Expressway. Carmelo Pinales, 28, was driving a gray Subaru Outback east on the expressway near Exit 68 in Manorville, possibly speeding, when he crossed the grassy median at 9:35 a.m. and went airborne, launching into a Honda and BMW going in the opposite direction, Suffolk County police said. Pinales and his sister, Patricia, 27, died at the scene, and a helicopter airlifted his 10-year-old son, Christopher, to Stony Brook University Hospital
